While spring is great, late summer and early fall (August through October) are actually the absolute best times to hydroseed! Warm soil combined with cooler air temperatures allows seed to germinate rapidly with minimal weed competition, establishing deep roots before winter.

Depending on weather and moisture, you will typically see green sprouts within 7 to 10 days. A full, lawn-quality turf usually establishes in 3 to 4 weeks.
